The Lexus dynamic handling system integrates multiple systems: Adaptive variable suspension, dynamic rear steering, variable gear ratio steering and Lexus’ unique vehicle dynamics integrated management system. Grip, stability, agility and response are improved by independently calculating and adjusting adaptive suspension settings, active safety systems, and the optimum angle for all four wheels.

The second generation Lexus Remote Touch Interface (RTI) employs a slide-type controller ergonomically positioned for ease of use. The RTI allows users to quickly navigate the world’s largest on-board multimedia display: a 12.3” full-color LED in ultra-wide 24:9 format. The format allows for permanent display of two types of information simultaneously, such as map/audio and navigation input/incoming call.
Using sensors like millimeter-wave radar, the Pre-Crash Safety system (PCS) monitors speed, steering, and even the driver to determine whether a collision is unavoidable. If a collision is inevitable, PCS will alert the driver and automatically apply braking to reduce impact speed, while also retracting slack from front seat belts and adjusting steering systems to offer better response to emergency inputs.
